I have to go to PT today. I should be resting because of this damn cold.

I had so much fun at the My Little Pony convention! Lots of laughs, lots of partying, lots of food, looked at interesting swag. it was a great opportunity to get to know the two friends who invited me better and they are both super super nice and generous. Saw some amazing costumes. my friends gave me a couple of plushies. I swam 16 laps in the pool (first time I had my leg scar exposed in public which I was nervous about but nobody seemed to care or notice). First time I ever played Rock Band and I sang Freebird. I know that has fuck all to do with ponies but it was cool and I went over well. I'm super tired right now, did not sleep well over the weekend but it was worth it

Cranking up the Beatles because one of my neighbors put Whitney Houston on.

L. couldn't get together with me today because they are having major probs with their computer and have to hang around their house getting that taken care of but we had a nice long phone conversation just now. Later I'm going to go to my favorite cafe and then the library. I haven't hung out at the library in a long time.

Looking forward to meeting a friend of mine at the movies this afternoon, we're going to see the musical version of Little Shop of Horrors! I'm wearing my red jacket with the embroidered Chinese dragons on it because it's the closest thing I have to those sexy green dresses with the Chinese dragons on them that the chorus wears in that one scene.

It has been two months since the solar paneling was put in and not only is my electric bill not any lower, it's slightly higher. And this is partly during the time period when my computer was not working so it can't have been due to higher power usages.

I had the nicest day yesterday, L. and I went driving around looking at the beautiful local scenery, listening to great music and having terrific conversation and then they took me to this wonderful seafood restaurant I'd never been to before and treated me to a great dinner! I had pasta with clams, fish, mussels, calamari, shrimp and crab legs and we split a fried artichoke appetizer and I had some great wine with it and the waiter even threw in a free dessert! (triple chocolate cheesecake) Completely made up for how boring my weekend was.

Nothing going on here. I tried to text a friend but he didn't answer.

Just finished doing laundry. Had to deal with an absolute imbecile of a woman who kept blocking the dryer I was trying to get my stuff out of with either her body or the door, it was a very small laundry room and she couldn't process this at all. Then she starts muttering "Americanos" under her breath. Like the fact that she won't get out of my damn way is somehow political.

Had some orange blossom tea. I don't have much to do today, paid my rent yesterday. While I was waiting for them to give me my receipt one of the idiots said in this real snotty voice "are you finished?" like she really wanted me to leave. (I always want rent receipts because I'm not getting a repeat of when idiots tried to convince me I didn't pay my rent and I had to get my bank involved. Fortunately the bank guy backed me up and said those checks cleared.) I go "I'm waiting for my receipt." what a bitch.
