Nothing going on here. I tried to text a friend but he didn't answer.

Just finished doing laundry. Had to deal with an absolute imbecile of a woman who kept blocking the dryer I was trying to get my stuff out of with either her body or the door, it was a very small laundry room and she couldn't process this at all. Then she starts muttering "Americanos" under her breath. Like the fact that she won't get out of my damn way is somehow political.

Had some orange blossom tea. I don't have much to do today, paid my rent yesterday. While I was waiting for them to give me my receipt one of the idiots said in this real snotty voice "are you finished?" like she really wanted me to leave. (I always want rent receipts because I'm not getting a repeat of when idiots tried to convince me I didn't pay my rent and I had to get my bank involved. Fortunately the bank guy backed me up and said those checks cleared.) I go "I'm waiting for my receipt." what a bitch.

L. got another cold so we can't hang out today, I may go swimming if it gets warmer and I want to get Indian takeout for dinner tonight.

My TV is acting weird, every time I turn it on it keeps asking me to identify my DVD/Blue ray player. I have to turn the player on before I turn the TV on to avoid having it get in front of whatever I'm playing on it.
Later today I'm going to a benefit for a dog rescue organization at the bar across the street from me.

I'm having a cup of Comfort and Joy tea and a piece of carrot cake from my favorite cafe, earlier today I bought stuff to try to make Thai style chicken pie. I saw somebody do it on TV and it looked good.

The lease papers business completely threw off my schedule yesterday afternoon, after I took care of it I got some groceries. I wanted to hang out with L. but they have a cold so I went to Fenton's (ice cream parlor in my neighborhood). I especially wanted to go because it was a very warm day for March but the bldg turned out to be closed so they had their ice cream truck there instead. I had a hot fudge sundae with toasted almond ice cream. Their truck has a shorter menu than the main bldg so of course some little kid had a temper tantrum over it but everybody else was friendly and having a good time, it was very relaxing sitting out there and a couple of people complimented a necklace I was wearing.

The party yesterday was fun, we had Chinese food and listened to music and talked and watched some Star Trek stuff and I think my cupcakes went over well. The party I'm going to later today should be even more fun.

Watched some MST3K. while I didn't have access to a computer I found out there were a ton of MST3Ks and Rifftraxes on Tubi. Too many ads though.
The chairs got delivered, they look great and are comfortable but they take up more room in my apt than I realized so I had to move stuff around. Accidentally lost a ring I really liked. :(
Right now I'm baking cupcakes for a friend's birthday party tomorrow night. I called my friend a little while ago to make sure I got the time right. Also I ran out of soybean oil so I wanted to talk to her and make sure she was not allergic to coconut so I put coconut oil in there.
Later today I have to do laundry, my jeans and sheets are dirty and have my usual struggle with the stupid fucking dishwasher too.

Hi, everybody! I'm back! My old computer died on me and it took over a month to get a new one and get the whole setup taken care of!
