my rent check and extra end of the month $$ has still not arrived in the damn mail yet. I bloody hope it's in the mail today because of course there's no mail tomorrow and the rent is due on the 1st. I swear, I think the reason my parents always wait till the last minute to send it is because it's their passive-aggressive way of "punishing" me because they resent the facts that I need financial help and I'm not normal.

Damn. Wish my mom could pay my portion of the rent. Already thinking of the point when I am going to have to be paying the entire rent by myself. Won't be here of course, I'll have to move. I don't even make the total of the rent in SS and SSI.

Of course, hopefully by then I'll have a handle on things and I'll be out in the working world again, but even then, money worries never go away.

I think my parents pay my rent because we'd ALL prefer that to me living with them. I'd prefer walking on hot coals and broken glass to living with them.

Thanks for reminding me how lucky I am. My parents have given me money in the past (I'm an only child and they're well-off) but since age 18 I have been able to self support, and this has completely changed our relationship.

Let's look forward to the next end-of-the-month.

You know under normal circumstances I would think that is really sad but I know exactly where you are coming from. My Mom is ashamed of me. She tries her best not to show it but she tells my sisters all the time how she thinks I make half my problems up for attention and she is tired of hearing about it and she wishes I would just give it up already.
