Heh. The fandom I've loved longest in terms of active involvement is The Sentinel, but my longest fannish love in general is ST:TOS. Watched it in after school reruns in the late seventies, and yeah. Never really stopped loving it.

I like Star Trek a lot, Next gen is my fave but I like classic Trek a lot too.

The movie too, but for a while there the series was a staple of after 3pm tv programming in my country. It was expensive to ship tapes all the way to the bottom of the world and our two (count 'em) tv channels wanted their money's worth.

I didn't even know there was a series. I do remember seeing the movie on TV very late at night, I think I was about 17 if I recall correctly.
