The $$ showed up yesterday so I was able to get a lot of shopping done.
The bad news is this restaurant that I absolutely love that was in the next block from where I live is closing down after only being there for a few months! I was so mad I actually cried. (and I don't cry easily)
The Halloween block party was fun at least but I don't think I'm going to get to go to live Rocky Horror this year like I did last year, when I went to the theater to buy my ticket the box office was closed. There were a bunch of people sitting on the sidewalk waiting to get into another show and they told me the box office wouldn't open for several hours so I just finished getting groceries and went on some other errands and then went home. I think I'm going to just go do something else on Halloween because I absolutely refuse to sit home and do nothing.

this store in my neighborhood that used to sell these awesome fancy soaps I love closed down too. :(
