Spent pretty much all day yesterday reading, listening to great music and watching movies and TV shows (most of which were good except for one movie I wasn't that impressed with). One thing that gets me is some people's snobbery about a whole medium. Books are not intrinsically better than, say, something that just exists online. There is wonderfully written material online and there are trashy books. Twilight proved a lot of people will buy shit. It used to be a mainstream opinion that movies were better than TV, but there are a lot of great TV shows around and a lot of really awful movies.
