So many of my friends are gone, both online and IRL. I don't hear from most of them anymore, they're off on their own trips or otherwise busy. Last night I went to this pub in my neighborhood and the drinks and music were great but I was the only person not there in a large group and I couldn't really get a conversation going with anyone. Friends of mine used to hang out in that pub but I didn't see any of them there. Roomie is way more interested in his video games and these people I don't know who he talks to online all the time than he is in me and he's my best friend.

I'm sorry. Do you and your roomie carve out reliable together time? Also, what about the people you meet at Godless Perverts et al?

there aren't as many of my friends at GP and those other groups as there used to be. I do appreciate the ones that are still there but a lot of them aren't there anymore.
I'd like to be able to carve out reliable together time with roomie as you put it but it's not always easy to do this. A lot of the time if I so much as ask him if he wants to go down the street to this cool cafe I love for a tea and a cookie he doesn't feel up to it.
