Just had a big cup of Sri Lanka tea but it's not kicking in very well. I had a very pleasant surprise yesterday when a good friend of roomie's and mine dropped by. Normally I'm not crazy about people coming by without notice but I was happy to make an exception because this was somebody I like a lot and hadn't seen in a long time due to his crazy assed work schedule. We had a nice long conversation and played games and I took him out to do a little shopping and to the local pub. :)

Yay for fun surprises! I don't like it when people just show up, either. I like some time to do last-minute "I grew up with hoarders so my need for clean is overkill" tidying up before people come over.

Also, I don't keep a lot of snacks around because of my diet but I like to have them for other people when they come over.

We don't keep a lot of extra food around either, though for us it's because of budgeting. I like having snacks/drinks to offer too.
