Had an interesting day yesterday. The Bone Room was awesome as always. King Tsin, a Chinese restaurant in that neighborhood that i used to go to all the time has changed owners and chefs and they're not as good now, they put way too much soy sauce in their food and it's too salty and the dim sum menu is much smaller and more expensive than it was. Not worth it. I saw Mr. Holmes which was great, Ian McKellen and the other actors in it were all excellent and it dealt with a couple of pretty interesting themes, fiction vs. reality and logic vs. emotion. Little bonus that i caught and absolutely loved, there's a scene where Holmes goes to watch a movie version of one of his stories and the Holmes in the movie within the movie was played by the same actor who was in Young Sherlock Holmes. (Anyone reading this besides me remember that movie? I liked that movie a lot.) Had a beer and interesting conversation at Schmidt's.
