Chapter 4


House and Walpole were having sandwiches and salads for lunch in the PPTH cafeteria when 13 walked up to their table. House was expecting her to talk to him about the case they had been working on, which was a real headscratcher, but she didn't say anything to him at all and just started flirting with Walpole. House's ice blue eyes stared at her, and he scowled slightly but didn't say anything, waiting to see what Walpole would do.

There was a long pause.

Walpole cleared his throat and turned towards House.

"Gregory, my dear boy, I knew you were a brilliant doctor, but I had no idea your talents extended to re-animating the cadavers!" Walpole smirked.

House threw his head back and roared with laughter. 13 was so embarrassed she didn't say anything to Walpole or House and just walked away rapidly.

As she rounded the corner she whispered to Wilson, "I don't care if it didn't go the way you wanted, you're still paying me for this!"

Wilson turned bright red.

Naughty Wilson! He should have sent Cameron. Walpole would fall all over himself flirting with her and House would be jealous as all hell. But this your story and not mine. LOL!
