Got a decent amount of sleep last night but I'm still tired, had some fucked up dreams. I made myself a pot of Lapsang Souchong and am waiting for it to take effect. I'm going to be baking cookies later today so I need all the energy I can get. I took the butter out of the fridge to soften it up several hours before baking. I always do this because either melted butter or rock hard cold butter makes for weirdly-textured cookies. Good cause though, I'm baking the cookies in the first place because I got invited to the east bay gay men's chorus Xmas party tomorrow night and those are always awesome.

Is it like a chai? I drink hot tea as well but I don't like spiced teas like Chai. I do love strong though. So, if its not a spiced tea I will have to try it out. My favorite is Darjeeling.

no, it's not spiced. it's a black tea, the leaves are actually smoked.
