Due to the elevator being screwed up all weekend I am going to have to start moving later, like about the 20th. I had wanted to get it over with. Also, the front wall of the temporary apt. is all window so my bed won't be out of sight like it is in my old apt.. I am not thrilled about the lack of privacy, it's on the ground floor and has vertical blinds. You can see right through vertical blinds even when they're closed if you stand at the correct angle. Shit, that's even a plot point in one of my fics! (Why Foreman did not walk in on House when he was masturbating in his office in "Imaginary Lover".)

You ought to get some partitions or cheap shoji screens and put those between your bed and the window.

Another thought is that you could use makeshift curtains (such as, sheets, plus thrift stores resell curtains all the time) behind the blinds.

Thrift stores are a blessing. Even cheap sheers from a crappy store would work.
