God it's hot in here. They had to put plastic over the window in my apt. because they're working on the units above in order to keep debris out.

Are you on the floor? How many stories is your complex? I could only imagine how hot the above units are. Im even surprised yall have a/c. When my sister lived in San Fran her house didn't even have it. She lived on a hill where the road to house was slanted and it was always so damn cool in her place.

Oh shit, is it normally this hot? I know the northeast is having a hell of a time with heat this summer. Texas on the other hand is being flooded like a mother fucker. Last year we had the worst drought in our history and this year people are losing their houses. Global warming is fucking crazy dude.

it's usually pretty hot here in the summer, it's just worse than usual because of the lack of ventilation.

Damn and you survive without a/c? I guess I am ruined. I would (literally) die without it. We have kids have heat strokes playing sports in our weather. I guess I should make sure its not the summer when I finally visit, aye?

Yeah the fall is my favorite time to go up north. I love seeing an actual fall where the leaves change color and you can breath outside lol.

Plastic over the window in July sounds like a real nightmare. But as you said, it's just this once and the reapir works were needed. I hope the pool is in working order and not too crowded (I inow a pool doesn't replace A/C, but it's better than no pool).
