My damn DVD player broke last night but good old roomie managed to find me another one on Amazon for only 50 bucks (I could have gotten one for even cheaper but i needed a combination DVD player/VCR because i still have a lot of old videotapes sitting around). Now i just have to be patient and wait for a couple of weeks for it to come in the mail.

Hurrah for roomie! I think I'll ask some friend to transfer my videotapes into DVDs, I do not have many and it's mostly family stuff, just in case the VCR dies on us and we can't replace it.

Those two weeks will be long though, hopefully you can find enough to watch online.

I hate it when the entertainment goes you and you can't easily afford a new one. Months without TV can be pretty bad, no matter how many books you have.

yeah tell me about it. i was so bored yesterday. thank goodness for netflix insta view, it has lots of TV shows and movies.
