I'll be glad when they're done with the construction on my bldg. They start way too early in the AM and the racket is not to be believed. Just sitting here making my ginger tea and trying to relax.

they're renovating the whole building. New owners. It needed it. A lot of people have already moved out.

Ohh, I see. So, I gather it'll make the building nicer. Are they going to raise your rent? A lot of times any sort of improvement (even minor stuff) raises rent like whoa.

I hope they don't raise it too much. If they only raised it by a SMALL amount of $$ it might be okay.

I hope not too. Our rent gets raise about $20 every year when we renew. It's not too much though so we stay (That and we honestly can't afford to move).

So that's why you sometimes post early. Poor you. Although you're right, the building definitely needed renovation - in fact, I think the previous owners must have been pretty dense, since it's a really cute place and it would lose a lot of market value just by them not performing adequate maintenance.

the previous owners were jerks. I've got a few major beefs with them but they're gone now. :)
