At this point probably the best thing I can do is try to keep busy with my usual life and try not to dwell on this too much. But I will really miss my friend.

I'm so lucky I never missed a friend so far. But of course as I grow old this will happen, and it's frightening. At least it's good to know you'renot alone facing this, there's roomie and all the other people online and not that care for you. Still, it doesn't fill the void.
