OK. the new owners of the building want to do major renovations on everything so Roomie and i will have to move all our stuff temporarily to another apt. in the same bldg. at some time in the future. Plus I have to re prove my social security status so i had to go to the office to get verification papers. And fill out a form for another social security card because i lost mine. And i fell down in the street and broke my watch and smashed up my knee. At least there will be some changes made in the building (it needs it bigtime) and the new staff seems way nicer than the old one was. Roomie and I will need help moving our stuff though.

Hope it's not too bad with the knee, and that your parents will be willing to finance a new watch.

As for the partment, it definitely could use a renovation, especially since it is such a nice one as far as position and inner structure go, so a small amount of work could really make a big difference. Having a good landlord seems a major improvement too, although moving out and back in will be a nuisance.

my knee hurts, as soon as I feel up to it I'll go take a painkiller. It's only the watchband that's broken, I'll see if J can fix it.
I'm actually looking forward to the improvements in the apt., moving will be a bitch though, especially since it's going to be for about a month. (It'd be interesting if they did that while I was in Europe with you, then i wouldn't have to deal with it.)

I already took my watch to the jeweler's to get fixed, but it's the only one I've got, so if you've got an extra one sitting around (with a second hand) that you could spare please let me know and I'll PM you my address (unless you've already got it?)

my knee is still sore but better than it was yesterday.
It'll be a pain in the butt having to move all my stuff temporarily but worth it to have the apt. in much better shape.
