Just got my garbage disposal fixed, they actually did a fast job doing it. One of the maintenance guys who was an absolute idiot was let go when the new owners took over and it shows. Here's hoping the rest of the changes around here are that positive.

What a great start to the day (I know one never wants to think about garbage disposal, but a garbage disposal that needs fixing must suck big time). Yay for competent people doing their job.

In unrelated news, here the sky is clear, the temperature mild and I've just spent ten minutes stargazing with my daughter. There's an awesome Jupiter-Venus conjuction tonight and tomorrow.

sounds great but it's been pouring rain for 3 days here, so even if I went out to the planetarium I couldn't even see the moon, let alone Venus and Jupiter.
