Had a terrific time with my family last night, everybody was in a good mood, I made some new friends (my sister's boyfriend's sister and her husband) we had a really tasty dinner and just totally enjoyed ourselves.

That is always great to hear. Family is a very important part of our lives. When you have no one else you always have your family.

actually I am closer to my friends though. If my family knew i was an atheist they'd scream (they're very religious). my friends aren't bothered by it at all.

My Momma knows but she doesn't like it. She says I raised you a good Republican Christian and you turned out to be one of those people.
By which she means a liberal atheist.
