Just came back from Austin a few hours ago, had a fantastic time except I decided to try to lose weight just to get my parents to stop bugging the fuck out of me about it and I'm not sure I can do it.
It's hard at first, hell, I'm still finding it hard to watch what I'm eating and the portion size. I love to eat, anything and everything, and its hard to cut out the daily latte, the beer with dinner, wine etc but I managed to do it. You should try the Lose It! site. A bunch of us from here are on there and it's fun to see each other's accomplishments daily. You can track everything you eat and any exersize you do and it'll really put things into perspective as to how much you're REALLY eating. I was shocked when I first started writing everything down. But once you get going, you'll be UNSTOPPABLE :)
I just wish there was a system to transfer weight from one person to another. If you could ship over ten or fifteen pounds you would make *two* sets of parents happy about their daughters' weight.
Yes. And even harder if you insist on which part of your body is supposed to gain/lose weight. The best part of pregnancy was having actual boobs, it was so nice while it lasted.
