The more i think about it, the more i think I did the right thing cutting the cable off. I only wish I'd done it BEFORE I lost so damn much money.

With Netflix, tv-links.eu and comms that provide downloads of current (and past) tv shows and movies, cable is kind of obsolete unless you don't have access to a computer or like the constant news channels.

the only news shows i watch with any regularity are the daily Show and Colbert. I also have a good sized video library and watch a lot of TV online.

I very rarely watch cable. I use Netflix a lot though because I have a Roku box. That thing is the best!

I've been living without a tv for a long time (I can't go without internet, though). I don't know how expensive netflix is now, hope not too much; it's one of the things I miss from the US.

also if I watch TV shows online I can watch them when I want instead of whatever time they decide.
