couldn't get any info about any of my friends having parties this year so I didn't really go out, just stayed home and made homemade chili and cornbread for dinner and watched TV.

Yeah I didn't either. I actually passed out at 9:30 and was awaken by the dog crying at midnight. Soany fireworks going off. He was in the corner crying and shaking.

I tried toget thetwins awake at midnight but didn't manage. So I and my husband wished happy birthday to my daughter, and we went on the beach with her to watch the fireworks. I wish we had had anything as tasty as homemade chili and cornbread :).
