Boyfriends, men in general, are highly overrated- at least for anything other than eye-candy. Useless for much else other than looking pretty and heavy lifting. You are better off without the hassle :)

Agree with what everyone said. Men are overrated, plus you get most of the positive sides (like physical strength, why are men so strong?) anyway from roomie.
Plus, your personal attractiveness or lack thereof is unrelated to your finding a (worthy) boyfriend. It's just a matter of luck, like winning the lottery. My most stunningly beautiful school time friend got married to an incredibly sleazy asshole and is now raising two kids alone.
