it's a great interpretation of a classic blues song. Hugh should be proud.
I may be getting to see him perform it live. he's supposed to be at a local music festival 10/1.

Very glad you are enjoying it. You know I mean no disrespect but it was not my cup of tea. So, more Hugh for you!

I love him but i don't like everything he does. He was in family Guy and I think that cartoon is about as funny as getting run over by a truck. I prefer South Park and Beavis and Butthead.

No matter your love for the celebrity, if they are in Family Guy, you feel sorry for them.

I'm so glad you like it. And if he really shows up there on 10.1 we all expect a detailed report from the SF fangroup!

I wasn't sure about the album at first, since I'm not a blues fan, but after listening to it a few times, it grew on me. Police Dog Blues, St. James Infirmary, Tipitina and Whinin' boy are my favorites. Oh, and Swanee River. How could I forget that one??

such a lovely icon. Enhoy the album for me, all of you, since I don't do music (it's only fair, I'm enjoying all kinds of beautiful theorems on your behalf, LOL).

What the world needs now (aside from love, sweet love) is a Hugh/Barrowman duet...or at least a mash-up.

I still wish I could talk you and my other friends into going to Hardly Strictly with me. It'll be more fun with you than by myself. (also, I'll look less like a stalker with friends....)

Still waiting for the actual schedule. It all comes down to who is on which stage and when. In a perfect world Hugh and Bela will be on the same stage on the same day. I wonder if Hugh's celebrity status will earn him a spot on the Banjo Stage (the big one.) If so, yay for him, but it will make it virtually impossible to get anywhere close unless you camp out the night before. Or even two nights before if he's not on until Sunday.

Tis a consumation devoutly to be wished, but unlikely. However if they are scheduled on the same stage on the same day, that would make it far more plausible for hubby and I to schlep up there, brave the cold, the crowds and the various horrors that made last year's so very unpleasanat. Although maybe that means we'll have a hot Hardly Strictly this year. I've seen some of the best performances of my life up there (Nick Lowe, Joan Baez) but as it gets bigger and bigger, it becomes less and less fun. Oh Warren, what have you wrought?

I intend to get there early and bring a jacket or a sweater or something, and I've got a lot farther to go what with busses and the Bart. Besides, when else am I going to get to see Hugh live?
