Chapter 1

I've been in this shithole for two weeks. It feels like a lot longer.

I think the only reason I haven't been cut or raped or beaten half to death is because when I first got here, I saved a couple of guys' lives and one of them was a kingpin in some prison gang. The official prison doctor here is totally useless, he's dumber than a box of sticks. I don't even think he got through med school unless he cheated. Also, he's got a personality that makes me look like Mr. Rogers.

The only positive thing here is I think I may be getting transferred to a mental hospital because I seem to be hallucinating again. I thought I saw Wilson in the hall yesterday.
