Not much going on yesterday. Had to take two buses to get to the Radio Shack to get headphones and the buses were so slow it took hours. I was going to hang out at the mall where the Radio Shack is but a bunch of the stores there were empty which is kind of depressing especially since they recently renovated that mall so I just went home.

Two buses to get headphones, sounds like a lot of work. One advantage of my boring provincial town is I can buy more or less anything by walking to the store. And a mall with many empty stores is sad - we have two malls in our town (each reachable with a single bus) plus several more out of town and all of them have empty stores - in some of the more faraway ones almost half the stores are empty. It's ghostlike.

the shopping is excellent in my neighborhood for lots of other things but not electronics. that mall used to be really busy but a lot of the stores and restaurants that used to be there are gone and nothing replaced them. There are a few places there that are still very active, mostly grocery stores and clothing stores, but it's not what it once was.
