Looking forward to doing volunteer bartending at this event for the East bay Gay Men's Chorus tomorrow. I just hope my feet will be OK, they've been hurting over the past few days.

I'm so impressed by all the volunteer work you do, and by the range of your skills. I couldn't be a bartender, ever. I haven't done any volunteering since I got my first job in 1990. Sending happy thoughts to your feet.

(gulps in awe) I guess i've never even seen a mean drunk in my life. I suspect I've never seen someone really drunk either.

And I could never, ever work as a waiter, much less a bartender. I don't have the right kind of brain. Too bad you can't do that job anymore, it sounds like it would suit you so well otherwise (possibly in a bar with no mean drunks - not sure one exists, though). But I can imagine you taking appropriate care of a very drunk House (or HL).

I've always considered going to bartending school. I'd probably like working behind the bar in some quiet pub or something. Not a nightclub tho.
