the other night a couple of my friends were debating about how much Jabba the hut is supposed to weigh.
me: I think you guys just broke the nerd meter. (I copped to breaking it myself sometimes!)

that's part of what I was thinking! you'd have to use one of those scales they weigh trucks with, and he's not going to be cooperative!

You can assume that he has about water density and find out his volume by putting him in a small swimming pool and measuring how much the water level raises when he's completely submerged.

Jabba's weight could be very closely estimated using advanced math. Make his slimy behind punch drunk till he passes out, then measure him and all. He'd cooperate. Heh!
