Just siting here drinking my tea, getting ready to make eggs and sausage for brekkie. Not much going on here right now. Roomie made his awesome spaghetti last night. :)
I have a deep-seated envy for your liver. Mine would go on strike at eggs and sausage anytime of the day, and especially in the morning. I can't even have a fucking espresso before breakfast because my liver goes all pansy on me.
tomato sauce w/ ground beef and lots of garlic, a little red wine, hot pepper and other things. I don't know everything he puts in it because I'm not in the kitchen when he does it. for reference when you come here, what do you usually have for breakfast?
I don't eat a cooked breakfast - usually I consider a small bowl of cereals and milk amply enough (a traditional Italian breakfast is nothing at all). Or toasted bread (also untoasted if no toaster is available) with butter or peanut butter and/or jam. [You can't get good peanut butter in Italy.]
I know other people are used to eating more substantial breakfasts, and I've been watching other people eat three times as much as I in several different countries spread over three continents :). I don't mind at all.
The only drink I really need is tap water, although I like tea or coffee, too (any kind so long as it's caffeinated).
You roomie's spaghetti sound very interesting and nourishing. Minus the hot spices, it sounds like what my kids love to eat.
