26/6/11 16:25Just got back from Pride, had a fantastic time as always except for some crazy bitch who hit or kicked me on the ass for no reason. what the fuck? Rode with my PFLAG peeps in the parade as always.
here are 5 questions the lovely damigella_314 gave me:
1) How do you think you came to love music so much? Is it nature, nurture, or a mixture of the two? I don't know for sure but I think it's a combination of the two.
2) What are your five favorite TV series/shows/talkshows/etc (feel free to include past ones)?
House (seasons 1-3)
Jeeves and Wooster
Blackadder
A Bit of Fry and Laurie
Monty Python
(one of these things is not like the others...)
3) If you could magically become a man, would you want to? Why or why not?
the only time I would ever want to is if I were around a LOT of really attractive guy guys. For the obvious reason.
4) How easy/difficult is it to share a flat with a roomie? Does one quarrel like a couple/more/less/differently?
I almost never argue with him. We're usually able to meet eachother halfway when we do disagree, which isn't very often. Makes a nice change from other roommates I've had.
5) What is your favorite month in the year and why?
I don't have a favorite month. That being said, I like summer a lot.

27/6/11 00:44 (UTC)2) What are your five favorite TV series/shows/talkshows/etc (feel free to include past ones)?
House (seasons 1-3)
Jeeves & Wooster
NCIS
MI-5
Castle
3) If you could magically become a man, would you want to? Why or why not?
Yes. There are some things I could get done more easily as a guy than as a woman. Once that's done I'd change back. Lol!
4) How easy/difficult is it to share a flat with a roomie? Does one quarrel like a couple/more/less/differently?
My mister has been my only roomie for any significant duration. Enuff said. :)
5) What is your favorite month in the year and why?
I don't have a favorite month, but fall is my favorite season.

because that's actually how I feel, usually when faced with any of a number of particularly hot, single gay gentlemen of my acquaintance - or a particularly stubborn jam jar.

27/6/11 11:14 (UTC)Haha, that's a good one. I was thinking along bigger terms such as negotiating for things. Women get ripped off or not taken seriously when negotiating auto repairs, home repairs and even business deals, etc. I've been treated differently by the same people when I've tried to do something via phone (my female voice) as apposed to working the same deal in person. And when my mister calls (male voice) the same people, it gets done. :•/
It's frustrating. The jam jar is a no brainer. Lol!

27/6/11 14:07 (UTC)And let's not discuss about how much larger the selection of comfortable-yet-elegant shoes is for people of the male persuasion (I do buy men's shoes, but they fit me a bit wide).

27/6/11 21:23 (UTC)To be sure! My grandmother was from Rome. I only spent one week there in my life. Loved the visit. That explains both our catholic back grounds. Lol!

27/6/11 14:53 (UTC)I was like, "Oh snap! Hold on to your hats people!" Heh!
Of course he would be an agent from the ever elusive MI-6 team. =D

"one of these things is not like the others..."... because HRH (His Royal Hotness) is missing, or at least is not a permanent cast member (I can't remember whether he has occasional cameo roles).
"I almost never argue with him."
That's so good. I grew up in a household with a LOT of quarreling and it took me a while to realize this is not a necessary consequence of living together.
"I were around a LOT of really attractive gay guys."
I shouldn't have asked this question at the time of Pride, LOL. And as I said above, I'm so easy that ONE hot gay guy is enough to make me wish to have a good-sized cock (so many of my friends are size queens).
I think I would usually say my favorite month is July, but that's because it tends to be the only month which is unashamedly, 100% summer. A month without rain except for rare brief thunderstorms, temperatures never going below 25C (77F) in the night and 30C (86F) in the day. Some like it hot.

27/6/11 11:23 (UTC)November to February is the best time of year for me: hurricanes and rain cease, temps cool down between 60's and 80's and the bugs are mostly minimal. :)
