Started watching CSI:NY from the beginning because i like that show but I'm MUCH less familiar with it than I am with the Vegas one. "Teardrop" by Massive Attack got played in the very first epie on the DVD so I was all "Hey! House wants his music back!" Roomie got annoyed.

yeah, he's great. I've liked him ever since I saw him in Forrest Gump. I was so pissed he didn't win the Oscar for that.

Still sifting through LJ notifications. I just got a flood of them- and yeah, it is great that your roomie pulls his weight even if isn't necessarily financial. I just have been taken advantage of one too many times by supposed friends to not be incredibly wary :(

It's a double-down on House MD music since they use Baba O'Reilly as the theme. (I hate the "remixed" version they started using a few seasons ago.)

There was a guy at the Mint the other day who was very much a look-a-like for Carmine G. I took a picture and told him so and he seemed to know who I was talking about.

I gave up on the show when they made my OTP of Mac/Danny too opaque even for my tin hat.

yeah, I remember Baba O'Reilly playing on House. speaking of the Mint, damigella314 and I were discussing going to the Mint when she comes here on 8/21 and having dinner at Woodhouse since it's right near the Mint anyhow. I know it's way in advance but maybe we could make a whole party of it?

actually, I would not mind doing the Mission with both you and her, i haven't talked to her yet about whether she wants to do the Mission or not. there is this one Mexican restaurant roomie and I want to take her to but it's not in the Mission. why not ask her if she's interested? you're the Mission native so you probably have a few fave spots you want to show her and possibly bring Mr. Karaoke along too. ;)
