it's been nuts over here. for the past two days I've had to stay home because there's supposed to be an apartment inspection (not the paranoid-making one, just the one where they ask you if you need any maintenance done) and they've turned off the water in the building for the same two days because there was some plumbing problem in one of the apartments which they were supposed to fix and haven't, and I want to do my laundry. Also, it's been really hot and the pool is closed for who knows how long because there's some problem with the filter. Some of my neighbors have been swimming in there anyway and I'm highly tempted to do the same thing but I'm too damn much of a goodie-goodie and I don't want to get caught.

Tell me that I got it wrong. It's very hot, and now you can't use the pool? Sucks.

"I'm too damn much of a goodie-goodie and I don't want to get caught."
The double motivation perfectly explains why I end up not doing anything illegal.

Hope your day brightens up! (hugs and chocolate)

the only illegal thing I've ever done in my life is smoke weed. whoop de shit. it's less dangerous than alcohol or tobacco.

That's what pisses me off so much about the no drugs law. They don't make any sense, and go against science. And I know weed is unhealthy for some people, but hard liquor is unhealthy for me and I don't feel the need to forbid everyone else to enjoy their whiskey just because my liver is sub-par.

Remind me again why you and your BFF live in this apartment?

LOL, the pool and an awesome neighborhood and a no-door-to-door-solicitors allowed policy, but I know what you mean.

At least your place gets repaired and taken care of. There are places where you'd have to put up with broken things because the slumlord who owns it either won't fix things or waits forever to get it done. I had one close to that before.

If the pool filter is messing up does that also mean the water isn't cycling through and any number of people germs could be accumulating? You may be better off staying out for now. :) Thankfully, my landlord replaced the broken A/C unit in this place the very next day. Our water has been messing up too. Im in sunny FL, so I feel ya, hon!
*wishing I had access to a pool*

actually they say they're going to fix things but a lot of the time they don't. they also insisted on putting in vertical blinds. I hate vertical blinds but they said they have to put them in. :(
