Saw the Lathe of Heaven last night, it was so weird. I hadn't seen it since it was new and I remembered most of it, odd that it was unavailable on video for so long. Although I swear I remember it having the original version of With a Little Help From My Friends by the Beatles, not the wimpy cover version I heard last night. Anyway, it was even weirder than I remembered it being, I actually asked roomie to look it up in the Mind Screw section of TV tropes because it belongs there but it wasn't there.

Post at 7.23am? That's unusual. Hope everything is fine with you and you just woke up early because you're feeling more energetic than usual.

The cover version may well be motivated by money reasons, and you may remember the original because everything is always better when you remember it. But it's good you have Mozart to clean your ears of the bad aftertaste.

I'm fine. I logged on that early because I woke up early and normally I would lie in bed and try to get some more sleep but I knew i wasn't going to be able to fall back asleep so I just got up early.
I love the Beatles so bad Beatle cover versions drive me nuts. My idea of torture is having to listen to the I am Sam soundtrack. yay Mozart!

It certainly does belong in the Mind Screw section.

...am I a horrible person for laughing when George realized what happened while he was out? It's just that the way he said it, complete with a deer-in-head-lights look, was priceless.

you have a point there, although I'm not sure it was intended to be funny.
