had a really fun afternoon with my sister, her boyfriend, my niece and a friend of my niece's whom I hadn't met before. We seriously pigged out on some dim sum and then we went shopping. fun conversation in general. :)

IMHO it's always a wonderful thing when one can have a great time hanging out with ones own family. It makes me happy for those who have that in their lives. =]

We could never afford a bigger place, so we
had a parent's room and the kids' room.
Now, as Marines, one still shares a barracks
room, the other two have wives. Not sure if
they'll ever have their own rooms. Lol!

I am so shallow that all I'm envious about is the dim sum. I left my heart in San Francisco the first time I went there and discovered dim sum (later I also had very good dim sum in Vancouver, but there's none where I live now).

Good for you to have such a great family, too :-).
