Roomie has been out of town for about a week now but he's supposed to be coming back later today; I don't know what time. I have to do some cleaning up in here. Also, I really overslept this morning, probably because I have not been getting much sleep over the past few nights, worse than usual. On top of that, my periods are acting all fucked up AGAIN, and getting worse, apparently my meds are not working at all now so I have to call the doctor day after tomorrow (his office is closed on the weekend of course) and I may have to have surgery.

I'm sorry to hear the meds aren't working. Maybe the doc can try something else before considering surgery. A different med, maybe?

he's already changed the meds several times, last time I talked to him he said I might have a uterine polyp and you have to have surgery to get rid of them, apparently.

*hugs* Don't be afraid of surgery or possible hysterectomy (says the one who was terrified at the prospect if only because I don't like being knocked out and out of control), because it is far better to do it and get it over with.

I have noticed a drastic improvement, not to mention not having to waste money of sanitary pads and tampons, no more cramps, no more pms and I have noticed that my OCD symptoms, while not gone, have lessened, if you will, a bit since having that pesky uterus removed.

it's just the extreme physical discomfort that makes me nervous. also, I'm reluctant to tell my parents because of my mom's behavior when anybody she knows has to have surgery (especially me).

Tell your mom afterward, heh heh.

Sorry you're going through all this stuff with your woman parts. My friends who've had hysterectomies have all been pretty happy about it.

I'm sorry to hear to that you have to see the doctor again. *hugs* But as the others said maybe it'll be better just to get this stupid thing out!
