All my checks cleared, or at least I think they did. I wish I made more $$, it runs out too fast. You make less than min wage on disability. I do not recommend it.
One nice note, I got my House calender in the mail! Yay!

And yeah, I had the option to go on disability after my leg, I said fuck it and got a job I could do because there was no point in even bothering with what I would have gotten. I was only considered 52% disabled so it wasn't near enough to live on. Like, where did they think I would make that other 48% of my income?

Any chance you could get a part time job somewhere?

Not really. I've got Asperger's, which translates to too fucking nuts to hold down a job in any field other than crime or show business.
I do like to change my journal's look every once in a while, and purple is my favorite color.

I feel for you, it's the same deal with me exactly, except replace that with Bipolar. It's shit really and I hate explaining it to other people when they ask about me...what's my job, why I don't have one, all that.

sometimes I talk about my fic writing as if it were my job, if I've just met the people I'm talking to and don't expect to see them again.

It doesn't happen often (thankfully) and last time it did I hesitated and my husband said that my job was an Oscar Wilde scholar and nothing else was really said. Which was obviously good as it would have gotten awkward.
My husband also has a disability as he has some brain damage after injuring his face badly years ago, but I think the countless amount of jobs ruins any chances of qualifying for anything. It's why my mom got rejected.
