I feel kind of fucked up right now because I woke up too early AGAIN but I should be feeling better later. This afternoon I'm going over to Lucky 13, a cool bar I reviewed in an earlier post, for their free barbecue on Saturdays in summer. Mini review time: Bakesale Betty, 5098 Telegraph Ave., Oakland. Excellent fried chicken and baked goods, especially the chocolate chip cookies. The place is dinky so I would recommend getting take out. The staff is relentlessly cheery but not in an irritating Ned Flanders sort of way.
