yeah, they did. and they started doing it again recently on the show, and it's not being handled well at all, but that's a whole other subject.

it has. I'm primarily watching to ogle Hugh now, if I want plots and characterization that actually makes some damn sense i watch my DVDs of the earlier, better eps, or read my friends' fanfics, or write my own.
