It really should have happened in the 1st or 2nd season. Now Hugh is still trying, but he's working with crap scripts and there's no excitement about the show anymore. He'll have to wait until he's Susan Lucci territory, and then they'll have to give it to him.
That's how I felt about Jon taking the emmy over Stephen. He went to Iraq and shaved his head for crying out loud. I would have been happy with Conan winning too but srsly the Daily Show again?!? You know I love Jon but christ its time to pass the damn torch.
