My glasses broke yesterday so I have to type this with my face about 2 inches from the computer because I have bad enough nearsightedness and astigmatism to be considered legally blind. My dad and my sister were super nice and helpful about getting me replacement glasses but the eye doctor told me my astigmatism was really severe and they had to special order my lenses and I can't get them for about 9 days now, so I can't watch TV now and who the hell knows what I'm going to do when I go to Rocky Horror with a friend of mine Saturday. Plus I had to deal with some super rude jerks yesterday (not the Lenscrafter people, they were awesome). Some people just take advantage of me because I'm nice.

Aw man, that really sucks, I'm sorry hon. Maybe you should start saving up for laser eye surgery. But don't do it in the states. Come to Canada and have it done at one of the university clinics - it's much cheaper. :)

YOUCH! I would be completely nonfunctional without my reading glasses and I have to keep a pair of distance glasses with me most of the time too, although I can get away with just the reading glasses. I can tell things are getting worse though.

*hugs* I am sorry dude. That sounds like it sucks. Joshua was considered legally blind and just had lasix done. He has had a headache since he had it done. I think he freaked his head out.

I'm still going to do all the things I would do otherwise except watch TV. I have to go grocery shopping and go to the pharmacy and stuff today, I want to take roomie to the grocery anyway because he helps me carry stuff but now he can be my seeing eye man, haha.
