My stupid foot still hurts like hell from when I fell down in my bathroom five days ago. I did, however, have a really nice day yesterday, roomie and I met my parents in SF for lunch and we seriously pigged out on Hunan food, one of my favorite kinds of Chinese food. The garlic chicken, Mongolian beef and green onion pancakes were particularly good. Then we hung out at the Ferry Bldg., which is this very high-end food shopping complex. (Back in the early 80's I used to work there when it was just business offices.) my parents bought a lot of goodies to take back to Texas and then we had gelato. The only really awful thing was some aggressively insane homeless woman singled me out for abuse when roomie was using the Bart station bathroom on the way home.

You have open BART station bathrooms? Is this in SF or the East Bay. I thought they were all closed for "security" which really means they don't want to pay to clean them.

this was the MacArthur bathroom, remember, I live right across the st. from the north Oakland branch of Kaiser. I think only the SF Bart bathrooms are closed, and we all know they're just using 9/11 as an excuse, Bin Laden is not in the bart bathroom.
