greghousesgfit's mini review time! One of my favorite bar/restaurants is Jupiter 2181 Shattuck Ave. Berkeley.
Great outdoor patio with a fire pit and a small stage area (live bands, some of which are very good, play there sometimes) a nice selection of microbrewery beers (anything from North Coast breweries is particularly good) and excellent pizza and sandwiches. They bake the pizza in a wood fired oven and the toppings range from plain old pepperoni to some more exotic and tasty combinations. i think they bake the bread for the sandwiches in the wood fired oven too.
