My damn kitchen sink backed up again and the maintenance guys are always gone all weekend so I stuck some drain clearer down there even though I'm not supposed to because I'm fed up with the jerks who run this bldg. Anyway it says right there on the bottle that it won't damage the pipes. It seems to be working okay now. Let's hope it stays working.
I also picked up a bunch of groceries but couldn't find everything I wanted and went swimming. I'm really tired now. I think I may have a glass of wine.

Wine is definitely in order. Have you tried pouring boiling water down the drain? That sometimes help melt away in a fat that might have built up on the pipes... or just move it further down :b

I did pour very hot water down there and it seemed to drain all right. I also heard today that you really should not dump tea leaves down garbage disposals. I used to work at an appliance store that sold garbage disposals and I wasn't even told that. I am having a glass of red blend from Portugal.
