The movie I went to yesterday was great but super gross, the Substance. It was good to see my friend but he couldn't hang out much because he had a friend visiting from out of town who didn't want to go to the movie, hopefully we'll get together later for a late birthday dinner, I made sure he got my new cell number. Later today I'm going to go have lunch at my favorite North Beach pizza place.

Pizza sounds good. The movie, not so much. LOL!

the pizza was good. What was not good was what I heard while eating the pizza. The pizza place is takeout only and I wanted to sit down and have a drink or two while eating so I went to the bar next door. The super bowl hadn't started yet and they were doing a memorial on TV to this football player who had died and this JERK who was sitting at the bar a little ways down from me made a disgusting homophobic bigoted comment which I will not repeat. (There was nothing in the tribute that said or even hinted anything about the football player being gay.)
