Little nervous about tonight's House eppie, as I've said before, it looks suspiciously in the promos like it's Insult The Slashers Time. I know some of TPTB really dislike us slashers, which I think wallows in lameness. I know for a fact Hugh and Robbie don't mind us at all. (If it turns out I'm wrong about this, I'll be thrilled.)

Dude are you kidding, this is going to be boneriffic. I can't wait. I think they are just going to give us a lot of innuendo to make up for having us wait like a month between episodes.

I'm a little nervous about tonight's ep too, though more about the fan reaction. H/W fandom's a powderkeg. If the show doesn't live up to expectations, I'm going to be building a bigger bunker.

I am so ignorant of House fandom. I sort of live in my own little world with the exception of like, this one capslock com XD

I really hope that won't happen. But they shit all over H/Cam fans, so...

I don't think it'll be an out and out insult. I think it'll be a major tease that allows the fan-girls to see what they want, while reassuring middle America that nothing is going on. However I think it will piss off anyone who actually thinks we're ever going to get canon.

Of course not. I'm as Tin Hatty as any H/W fangirl out there, but I never want them to actually go canon even by implication. The question is how much they'll feed the fanbase while still putting at least one of the boys in a het situation and then making sure we see the jealousy in the other one. I'm actually OK with that dynamic because it's what we were originally given, but I still prefer it to be mostly by subtext (House sniping at Wilson having lunch with the new oncology nurse) rather than spelling it out so much that we're obviously supposed to read more into it.

I prefer to build my own tin hat, rather than have it sold to me as memerobilia.

that shows up in my fantasies too, at least some of the ones that I don't post because they're even more self inserty than "It's Time You Got a Life" was.

I also have this sneaking suspicion that tonight's episode is going to be a complete fake-out. If the show was produced in Britain (like Torchwood, the slashiest prime time show since the UK version of Queer as Folk), I would have higher expectations.
