Well, this was the first Xmas I was not with my family at all and most of my friends were out of town or had other plans, lucky for me roomie/best friend was available and we went to the new Sherlock Holmes movie, which kicked ass but was not entirely loyal to the books, think of it as a reboot like the recent Star Trek movie was. We ran into a friend of ours who was working at the theater, which was a nice surprise, and I invited her to come have dinner with us after we saw the movie but she couldn't go because she had a longer shift. then we seriously pigged out on Chinese food. And later today I'm going to go buy books, CDs and DVDs with some of my Xmas dough!

Sounds like you had a great Christmas, even if you didn't spend it in a very traditional way. Hope you also found lots of goodies while shopping yesterday =)

I did have a great Xmas. I'm not very traditional myself (plus I'm an atheist) so it was kind of appropriate. I found a couple of books while shopping yesterday but not as much as I thought I was going to so I'm going shopping again later today.

Glad you had a nice Christmas even if you weren't with your family. I got back from my brother's today; I stayed a day longer than I was planning to. I guess I will have to go see Sherlock Holmes since everyone seems to like it.
