I had so much fun with S. last night! We had a great conversation and I had linguini and clams and a couple of glasses of white wine I hadn't tried before and I happened to mention in passing that I was celebrating my birthday and they brought me a chocolate cannoli with a candle in it!
Now it looks as if L. is not going to cancel because it's already after 10 and I'm really looking forward to seeing them.
