The SS is now saying they can't trust me with money at all and my reduced payments are going to go to some other unnamed person called a "designated payee". Thank fuck my dad said he'd take care of me no matter what. He asked me to mail him all the paperwork so I did.
I feel like I even failed at being a failure.
I did have a nice time last night. I went to this cool bar in Oakland and had a couple of drinks and some takeout noodles I got in Chinatown.

I had a disability rights lawyer and he was awesome as hell but I haven't needed to use him since 1998 and I think he might have died (he was HIV positive).

I obviously don't know the US system but 'designated payee' implies it's someone designated by you, a fiduciary like someone said above. Seeking legal advice might be the thing to do. Is there a disability rights organisation/charity in your state that you could contact for advice/advocacy?
