Had some PG tips this morning.
I had an amazing evening. I went to this very charming French wine bar I'd never been to before and had some glasses of Merlot and a cheese platter that was very yummy and I happened to mention that I was celebrating my birthday and they kept giving me extra pours and a creme brulee and then some ladies I didn't even know paid my tab! I thanked them and they kept saying I was "brave" because I went out and celebrated my birthday even though I could not get ahold of any of my friends. I don't see what's so brave about that. To me brave is not shooting yourself in the head if you have cancer.
Then I got home to find out L. cancelled again. I'm going to the beach unless it rains.

Happy birthday! To the beach? But the Pacific is so cold! Could be worse, could be covered in snow and ice. As I look out my window, I see that it is snowing. ^_^
