Yesterday my parents called me basically to bother me about not having been able to make an appointment to sign up for the diet program. These people in these damn doctors' offices either don't answer their phones, send my information to the wrong dept. or say they're going to call me back and then never do it. I think my parents think I'm making up excuses.
Had some winter solstice tea earlier, then went over to the Haight St. fair and had a nice time. This gay hippie gothish guy wrote me a poem:

An ally found--
loved & accepted
by LGBTQ friends.
feelings of other-
ness eased:
I know it when
I feel it.

I think one of my neighbor's kids has covid, they just had a 15 minute coughing fit.

I fear that Covid comes right back to us because nobody here in Germany cares about it anymore. :(

Good news: my father calmed down. Bad news: the doctor's office still did not call me back. I called them. They did not answer the phone just like last time. I left another message.
I love that poem too.
I always wear my mask at doctor's offices and hospitals.
